Did You Know? In 1958, the Union of Saskatchewan Indians merged with the Queen Victoria Protective Association to form the Federation of Saskatchewan Indians. Later renamed the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations, it is one of the oldest First Nation political organizations in Canada. Aboriginal Employment Development Program Provincial Aboriginal Representative Workforce Council (PARWC)The Provincial Aboriginal Representative Workforce Council was formally established in February 2000 to develop strategies for delivering training linked to partnership employer job opportunities. PARWC is co-chaired by Saskatchewan First Nations and Métis Relations.
