Aboriginal, community, municipal, provincial and federal government representatives were invited to a dialogue about issues affecting urban Aboriginal people in Regina.
Saskatchewan's Strategy for Métis and Off-Reserve First Nations People (MOR) was introduced in 2001-02, as a way of better coordinating services and improving outcomes for Aboriginal people.

The government of Saskatchewan developed a Framework for Cooperation to guide community discussions on issues of concern to Aboriginal people in areas such as education, training and work preparation, employment, as well as individual and community well-being.
