For the first time in Saskatchewan history, First Nations Chiefs from across the Province, the Premier, Saskatchewan Cabinet Ministers and Members of the Legislative Assembly gathered in December of 2007 at Provincial Legislature to share in a traditional celebratory feast.

Formerly under The Department of Economic Development Act, 1993 which was re-named The Economic and Co-operative Development Act (E-0.011). Chapter D-12.11 Reg 2 (effective September 13, 1995) as amended by Saskatchewan Regulations 4/1999, 34/2000 and 110/2003; and by the Statutes of Saskatchewan, 2000, c.50.

under The Government Organization Act. Chapter G-5.1 Reg 137 (effective November 21, 2007).

R-19.01 Reg 1 formerly under The Renewable Resources, Recreation and Culture Act which was repealed by The Natural Resources Act (N-3.1), but these Regulations continue in force under The Natural Resources Act.
