Aboriginal Employment Development partnerships include all twelve Regional Health Authorities, the Saskatchewan School Boards Association and the Saskatchewan Environmental Industry and Managers Association. Northern Affairs Regional Development Corporations (RDCs)Since 1993, Northern Affairs Division has provided conditional, core, annual operating funding for regional development corporations in the Northern Administrative District. Comprised of neighbouring municipalities and First Nations communities who wish to work together to grow their local and regional economies, and governed by community-appointed local Boards of Directors, these non-profit organizations undertake a variety of economic development initiatives (e.g., strategic planning, skills workshops, local and regional promotional activities) based on local priorities and work plans.
