Did You Know?

Métis people are the descendents of French fur traders from the North West Company or British and Scottish fur traders from the Hudson's Bay Company and Cree, Dene or Ojibway women.

These processes provide a forum for the parties to discuss matters of common concern and play an integral role in facilitating strong communications between Saskatchewan and the province's First Nations peoples.
